WTF #4, MORE July 19

Marci's WTF #4 HINT Steve is not really fair when it comes to playing his WTF games. I think after a few quick and correct answers to WTF#1, he felt a bigger challenge was in order and so he upped the ante with #s 2,3, and 4, too much. So, since women are known to be the fairer sex anyway, here is photo hint #2 and hint #2 for WTF #4 and everyone can guess again. Hint #2 - it is something that is seen all over Prague on street corners. Photo Hint #2 Here it is - It comes in a paper bag..... Good luck and guess again. BTW, most people guessed the same thing, a paper airplane-not even close!!!!

New City, New Impressions, New Dichotomies.......OR From Jewish Ghettos to Gourmet Pork The wonder of travel, as opposed to living in a place, is seeing a city for the first time, with few pre-conceived notions or even expectations, and viscerally feeling the impressions of place and time. Small towns may be charming and countryside bucolic, but cities are powerful with distinct personalities created by their architecture, history, pace and dichotomies.  Walking and looking down, Prague's  cobblestoned streets and mosaic sidewalks evoke memories of Lisbon. French in the Czech Republic We left Paris and arrived in Prague on an amazingly easy, smooth and on time flight on  the notoriously late budget airline Easy Jet to start our Eastern Euro leg. We were met by our friend and whisked away to their lovely and spacious apartment that we get to call home for the next while.   Not only do we get a beautiful place to sleep but we get wine, cheese and charcuterie waiting in the fridge along with a delicious looking bread for breakfast and a personal Czech reservation service for dinner courtesy of our friend Pavel. We are not quite up to any exploration so we simply unpack and then head around the corner to a small neighborhood Italian bistro where the waiter speaks pretty good English and, we were in France for so long, we find ourselves speaking French!!! I am somehow automatically saying Bonjour, Merci and SVP as if being in a foreign country, I must speak a foreign tongue. Thinking back, my first few days in Paris I slipped with a ...
